Overview
The LabVIEW Sound and Vibration Toolkit provides comprehensive configuration, measurement-analysis, and visualization tools for audio, noise-vibration-harshness (NVH), and machine condition monitoring (MCM) applications. Based on an open-analysis capability and a flexible measurement library, the Labview Sound and Vibration Toolkit presents a unique capability to create software-defined automated test and measurement applications. Supported Operating Systems
LabVIEW Sound and Vibration Toolkit 21.5 for Windows supports the following platforms:
Windows 10
Windows Server 2019
Windows Server 2016
Note LabVIEW Sound and Vibration Toolkit no longer supports Windows Vista/XP/7/8.1, Windows Server 2003/2008/2012, or any 32-bit Windows operating system. LabVIEW Sound and Vibration Toolkit 21.5 will not install or run on an unsupported OS. You cannot deploy or distribute applications that use LabVIEW Sound and Vibration Toolkit 21.5 to an unsupported OS. Additionally, after installing LabVIEW Sound and Vibration Toolkit 21.5 on a supported OS computer, you cannot create any installers containing any version of LabVIEW, LabWindows™/CVI™, NI TestStand™, or Measurement Studio for an unsupported OS computer.
LabVIEW Sound and Vibration Toolkit Base/Full have the following requirements:
At least 1 GB of available disk space
At least 1 GB of RAM
NI-DAQmx 21.0 or later installed for NI-DAQmx measurement hardware support

Installation Instructions
NI installs software using NI Package Manager. If you do not already have NI software installed, LabVIEW installs NI Package Manager to handle the installation of your NI software. Visit ni.com/info and enter the Info Code NIPMDownload to download NI Package Manager. Refer to the NI Package Manager Manual for more information about installing, removing, and upgrading NI software using NI Package Manager.
Notes
If you purchased this product with an NI Software Suite or NI Product Bundle, use the installation media that shipped with your purchase to install this product.
Use the serial number that is included with your software to activate LabVIEW Sound and Vibration Toolkit. For more information on software activation, refer to National Instruments Software Activation.
Installing from the LabVIEW 2021 Platform media
You can install all of your LabVIEW products—including LabVIEW Sound and Vibration Toolkit—using the LabVIEW Platform media. Refer to the LabVIEW Installation Guide on the LabVIEW Platform media for installation instructions and system requirements.
To request additional LabVIEW Platform media, refer to the National Instruments website.
Note If you purchased this product with an NI Software Suite or NI Product Bundle, use the installation media that shipped with your purchase to install this product.

Redistributing Executable Sound and Vibration Applications
If you want to redistribute executables built with LabVIEW Sound and Vibration Toolkit or any of its components, you must purchase the appropriate NI Sound and Vibration Software Run-Time License. The part number for the NI Sound and Vibration Software Run-Time License is 779875-35. Contact National Instruments to purchase the NI Sound and Vibration Software Run-Time License.

Accessing the Sample Projects
To access the sample projects and templates from the New Project dialog, select Sample Projects in the left pane and navigate to the project that best matches your application requirements.
Finding Examples
You can find LabVIEW examples for the Sound and Vibration VIs using the NI Example Finder. Select Help»Find Examples to launch the NI Example Finder. On the Browse page, the Sound and Vibration example VIs are located in the Toolkits and Modules»Sound and Vibration and the Toolkits and Modules»Order Analysis folders.
You also can find LabVIEW examples for the Sound and Vibration VIs in the labview\examples\Sound and Vibration and the labview\examples\Order Analysis directories.
Automating the Installation of NI Products
You can automate the installation of most NI products using command-line arguments to suppress some or all of the installer user interface and dialog boxes.
