视觉论坛的各种NI资源，除了视觉相关的模块有使用外，大部分的都不会使用，仅提供资源不提供技术支持。资源的下载地址一般会同时提供NI官方和百度网盘的地址。某些工具包NI地址失效或没有NI地址，只能使用百度网盘地址；如果百度网盘地址失效过期，可联系论坛客服更新。NI的服务器在美国，有时候速度很慢或下载容易出错，这样会造成安装时各种错误而无法安装。建议在下载完成后，对下载资源做校验和(NI一般会提供MD5或SHA256等)验证，与官方或视觉论坛提供的校验和对比，一致就可以安装；如不一致，则需要重新下载。视觉论坛早期下载上传的资源，基本上都是正常下载的资源；2019后下载的资源，都与NI的正确校验和对比过，保证是正确的资源才上传到百度网盘。校验和工具下载地址：文件Hash计算器FHash，文件校验和验证下载文件正确性验证，MD5值计算、SHA1值计算、SHA256值计算、CRC32值计算http://visionbbs.com/thread-26524-1-1.html

Overview

The NI WLAN Toolkit gives you direct and fine control over the generation and analysis of IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and ax signals, as well as 802.11j/p/ah/af waveforms, with industry-leading speed and accuracy. It empowers you to characterize, validate, and test a variety of WLAN connectivity products, such as RF front end components, wireless modules, and user devices.

NI WLAN Toolkit has the following requirements:

• Pentium IV Processor or equivalent
• At least 2 GB of disk space
• 4 GB RAM

• PXI Platform Services 14.0
  

Supported Operating Systems

NI WLAN Toolkit 20.0 supports the following 64-bit operating systems:

• Windows 10/8.1 1 /7 SP1 2
• Windows Server 2016
• Windows Server 2012 R2 1
• Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 2
  

1 NI software installs VC2015 Runtime and .NET 4.6.2. Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 require Microsoft updates to support these items. Refer to Microsoft KB2919442 and KB2919355 for more information about how to install these updates.

2 NI software is signed with a SHA-256 certificate. Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 require Microsoft updates to support SHA-256. Refer to Microsoft KB3033929 for more information about how to install this security update.

Note   In 2019, NI WLAN Toolkit dropped support for all 32-bit Windows operating systems. NI WLAN Toolkit will not install or run on an unsupported OS. Refer to NI WLAN Toolkit Drops Support for Windows 7 (64-Bit) and Windows Server 2008 R2 in 2021 for information about future OS support.

Note   In 2016, NI WLAN Toolkit dropped support for Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and installations of Windows 7 without any service packs. You cannot deploy or distribute applications that use NI WLAN Toolkit 20.0 to an unsupported OS. Additionally, after installing NI WLAN Toolkit 20.0, you cannot use any installers built on this computer with any version of LabVIEW, LabWindows™/CVI™, NI TestStand™, or Measurement Studio on an unsupported OS.

Application Software Support

NI WLAN Toolkit 20.0 supports the following application software versions, including service packs. If you are not using NI application software, refer to Microsoft Visual Studio Support.

Installation Instructions

NI installs NI WLAN Toolkit using NI Package Manager. If you do not already have NI software installed, NI WLAN Toolkit installs NI Package Manager to handle the installation of your NI software. Visit ni.com/info and enter the Info Code NIPMDownload to download NI Package Manager. Refer to the NI Package Manager Manual for more information about installing, removing, and upgrading NI software using NI Package Manager.

Notes

• If Windows Update is enabled, the installation process might hang if Windows Update interferes with the installation of Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Run-Time. Visit ni.com/r/exjq43 for more information and steps to resolve this issue.
• Use the serial number that is included with your software to activate NI WLAN Toolkit. For more information on NI WLAN Toolkit activation, refer to National Instruments Software Activation .

Automating the Installation of NI Products

You can automate the installation of most NI products using command-line arguments to suppress some or all of the installer user interface and dialog boxes.

If the NI product you are installing uses Microsoft .NET 4.6.2, the .NET installer may run before any NI software installs and may require a reboot before the installation of NI software begins. To avoid a .NET reboot, install .NET 4.6.2 separately before you install NI software.

Using NI Software with Microsoft Windows 10

Microsoft Windows 10 is the latest version of the Windows operating system and features significant changes compared to previous versions. Windows 10 introduces several new capabilities and also combines features from both Windows 7 and Windows 8. For more information about NI support for Windows 10, visit ni.com/windows10.

Using NI Software with Microsoft Windows 8.1

When you install NI software on Microsoft Windows 8.1, you will notice a few additional tiles in the Apps view, including shortcuts to NI application software products such as NI LabVIEW, Measurement & Automation Explorer (NI MAX), and NI Launcher. NI WLAN Toolkit Drops Support for Windows 7 (64-Bit) and Windows Server 2008 R2 in 2021

NI WLAN Toolkit will drop support for Windows 7 (64-bit) and Windows Server 2008 R2 starting in 2021. Versions of this product that ship after May 1, 2021, may not install or execute correctly on these operating systems.
