视觉论坛的各种NI资源，除了视觉相关的模块有使用外，大部分的都不会使用，仅提供资源不提供技术支持。资源的下载地址一般会同时提供NI官方和百度网盘的地址。某些工具包NI地址失效或没有NI地址，只能使用百度网盘地址；如果百度网盘地址失效过期，可联系论坛客服更新。NI的服务器在美国，有时候速度很慢或下载容易出错，这样会造成安装时各种错误而无法安装。建议在下载完成后，对下载资源做校验和(NI一般会提供MD5或SHA256等)验证，与官方或视觉论坛提供的校验和对比，一致就可以安装；如不一致，则需要重新下载。视觉论坛早期下载上传的资源，基本上都是正常下载的资源；2019后下载的资源，都与NI的正确校验和对比过，保证是正确的资源才上传到百度网盘。校验和工具下载地址：文件Hash计算器FHash，文件校验和验证下载文件正确性验证，MD5值计算、SHA1值计算、SHA256值计算、CRC32值计算http://visionbbs.com/thread-26524-1-1.html

Introduction

IVI Compliance Package (ICP) 4.2 is an update release of IVI Compliance Package 4.1. This release includes the following new features and bug fixes:

• Adds Class Driver support for LabVIEW 2010

System Requirements

This installation requires one of the following Microsoft operating systems:

• Windows XP
• Windows Vista (32-bit)
• Windows Vista (64-bit)
• Windows Server 2003 R2 (32-bit)
• Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit)
• Windows 7 (32-bit)
• Windows 7 (64-bit)
  

Availability/Installation

IVI Compliance Package is included in the National Instruments Device Drivers CD Set. A stand-alone version is available on ni.com.

Before installing IVI Compliance Package 4.2, consider the following issues:

• If you plan to use IVI Compliance Package 4.2 with LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and/or Measurement Studio, make sure that you have already installed LabVIEW version 8.2 or later, LabWindows/CVI version 7.0 or later, and/or Measurement Studio version 6.0 or later.
• For compatibility reasons, the IVI Compliance Package 4.2 installation process enables write permissions for the IVI Standard Root directories (defaults: Program Files\IVI Foundation\IVI and Program Files(x86)\IVI Foundation\IVI) on Windows Vista and Windows 7 systems.
• National Instruments recommends that you close all other applications before you install IVI Compliance Package 4.2.
  

To install the stand-alone, Web-only IVI Compliance Package 4.2 version, complete the following steps:

• Download the IVI Compliance Package 4.2 self-extracting archive from http://www.ni.com/downloads by navigating through the Drivers and Updates link.
• Double-click the self-extracting archive to launch the installer.
• Click OK to begin installation.
• Follow the directions that appear on the screen.
  

Known Incompatibilities

• There are no known incompatibilities with upgrading from previous IVI Compliance Package versions to IVI Compliance Package 4.2.
• NI-Spy version 2.2 and earlier is not compatible with IVI Compliance Package 4.2. If you use NI-Spy version 2.2 or earlier, do not upgrade to IVI Compliance Package 4.2.
• As of IVI Compliance Package 3.1, the IVI Compliance Package distribution no longer includes LabWindows/CVI 6.0 support. Please refer to the Using LabWindows/CVI 6.0 With ICP 3.1 document for details.
• The IVI Specific Driver Test Suite in LabWindows/CVI 2009 requires ICP 4.1 or later.
  

Installed Components

IVI Compliance Package 4.2 installs the following components:

• IVI class drivers
• IVI class simulation drivers
• IVI class driver LabWindows/CVI support
• IVI class driver wrappers for LabVIEW 8.5, 8.6, 2009, and 2010
• IVI class driver examples for LabWindows/CVI, LabVIEW, and Measurement Studio
• IVI-COM adapters (32-bit only)
• IVI Shared Components, version 2.1.0
• IVI configuration plug-in for Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) 4.2.1 and later
• Online help
• IVI class driver C++ wrappers for Measurement Studio (Windows XP only)
  

Note: The IVI Compliance Package 4.2 stand-alone, web-only distribution does not install NI-Spy or MAX. You can install NI-Spy and MAX using several other National Instruments products, including the NI Device Drivers CD Set.

Note: You must have MAX 4.2.1 or later installed to use the IVI Configuration utility in MAX.

Note: Installation directory for LabWindows/CVI IVI Class examples and IVI Class Simulation drivers has been changed. The new installation directory is \Documents\National Instruments\CVI\Samples\IVI directory.

Note: IVI Compliance Package 4.2 includes IVI-COM adapters which enable users to use IVI-C and IVI-COM specific drivers interchangeably in the same 32-bit application. For more information on IVI-COM adapters, refer to the IVI-C Class Driver Support for IVI-COM Specific Drivers document.

Uninstall Considerations

Complete the following steps to uninstall IVI Compliance Package 4.2:

• Select Start»Settings»Control Panel»Add or Remove Programs.
• Select National Instruments Software and click Change/Remove.
• Select NI IVI Compliance Package 4.2 and click Remove.
  

Note: After you uninstall IVI Compliance Package 4.2, the IVI Shared Components remain on the system. Complete the following steps to uninstall the IVI Shared Components:

• Select Start»Settings»Control Panel»Add or Remove Programs.
• Select IVI Shared Components and click Change/Remove.
  

Note: If you installed IVI Compliance Package 4.2 as part of another distribution that depends on IVI Compliance Package 4.2, you cannot uninstall IVI Compliance Package 4.2 without uninstalling the dependent product.

Known Issues

• If IVI Shared Components 2.1.0 or later is already installed when the ICP 4.2 installer is run, the IVI Shared Components feature(s) in the feature tree will not be displayed.
• Because it has a ViInt64 attribute, the IviDigitizer Class Driver function panel file is in the CVI 8.5 format, which is incompatible with LabWindows/CVI versions prior to 8.5. Due to a known issue in LabWindows/CVI 8.5, the Get/Set/Check Attribute function panels do not display the enumerated values in the "Attribute Value" field when the FP format is 8.5. To enter a value manually, you may press "Ctrl+T". Because of this known issue, CVI 9.0.1 or later is recommended for use with the IviDigitizer FP file.
• LabVIEW users: A VI that makes calls to an IVI class driver and an IVI specific driver in parallel by branching off of the same instrument handle will result in an IVI_ERROR_NOT_INITIALIZED error being returned from the call to the class driver.
• National Instruments IVI libraries, tools, and utilities support only single-byte character strings. You cannot use multi-byte characters, such as those commonly used in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean operating systems. Only single-byte characters, such as ASCII characters, may be passed to IVI function calls, used to set directory paths, and used to create entries in the MAX IVI Configuration Utility.
