[*]Select Continue to run a program to determine if the LabVIEW Development System can be installed on your system.
[*]Follow the instructions that appear on the screen and continue to the Destination Select screen.
[*]In the Destination Select screen, select the location to install LabVIEW.
[*]After you select the destination directory, continue to follow the instructions that appear on the screen.

[*]Insert the LabVIEW media for macOS/Linux. Mount lv2017sp1pro-linux.iso located under the LabVIEW/Linux subdirectory.

[*]Use the following mount command to mount the ISO file:
# mount -o loop <path to lv2017sp1full-linux.iso or lv2017sp1pro-linux.iso> /mnt/lv2017sp1
[*]Change the directory to list files stored in the ISO image:
# cd /mnt/lv2017sp1
[*]On the mounted media, to run the installation script, enter the following command:
sh ./UNINSTALL
Installing the Control Design and Simulation ModuleComplete the following steps to install the Control Design and Simulation Module.(macOS)
[*]Insert the LabVIEW media for macOS/Linux and double-click LabVIEW Add-ons/Control Design and Simulation directory.
[*]Open Mac OS X subdirectory.
[*]Select Continue to run a program to determine if the Control Design and Simulation Module can be installed on your system.
[*]Follow the instructions that appear on the screen and continue to the Destination Select screen.
[*]In the Destination Select screen, you must select the location where a compatible version of LabVIEW is installed. Otherwise, the installation will not complete.
[*]After you select the destination directory, continue to follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
